Privacy Policy.

This page explains how Workless handles personal data across workless.ai, ticketing, correspondence, and restricted parts of the site.

Effective date: May 3, 2026

I

Who is responsible for your data

Workless 2026 is operated by Jannis Moore and the Workless team. For the processing described on this page, Workless determines why and how personal data is used.

Privacy and data requests can be sent to [email protected].

II

What we collect

We collect different categories of information depending on how you use the site.

Ticketing and registration

If you continue to the event checkout at events.workless.ai, the ticketing flow may collect:

  • 01name and contact details
  • 02ticket and attendance details
  • 03access-code or approval status information
  • 04payment and billing information handled during checkout
  • 05any event-specific answers you choose to provide in the ticketing flow

Correspondence and operational records

If you email us, we receive whatever information you include in your message, attachments, and subject line. This covers correspondence sent to addresses we publish, including [email protected] and [email protected].

Restricted-page access data

The site uses query-string access tokens for preview and restricted routes, then stores a simple unlock flag in your browser's localStorage. These values are used to keep hidden routes private while avoiding repeated token prompts.

Technical and delivery data

Like most websites, our hosting and delivery infrastructure may process technical data such as IP address, browser, device, basic request metadata, and security logs when the site is loaded.

Private member data

Some restricted pages display attendee names and operational finance snapshots for approved participants. That information is part of the event's administration.

III

How we use personal data

  • 01to manage access codes, ticketing, attendance, and event logistics
  • 02to reply to correspondence, receipts, reimbursement requests, and support questions
  • 03to operate restricted pages and reduce accidental sharing of private links
  • 04to administer the event, keep records, and settle finance-related follow-up after the gathering

IV

Legal bases

Depending on the interaction, we rely on one or more of these bases:

  • 01pre-contract steps and contract performance for ticketing, attendance, and event operations
  • 02legitimate interests for running the site, securing restricted pages, handling correspondence, and administering the gathering responsibly
  • 03consent where an optional marketing or follow-up choice is explicitly offered
  • 04legal obligation where we need to keep accounting, payment, or compliance records

V

Who we share data with

Ticket Tailor

We use Ticket Tailor, via events.workless.ai, for ticketing and registration flows. Ticket Tailor processes attendee and buyer data for the organizer's event operations. Ticket Tailor's privacy information is available at tickettailor.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Hosting and infrastructure

The site is statically hosted and delivered through the infrastructure used to serve the site and keep it available.

Email providers and external sites

Emails you send to us are processed by the email services on both sides of the message. If you click external links such as Google Maps, hotels, travel providers, or other third-party destinations, those services handle your information under their own policies.

Embedded media providers

Limited-access pages may also include embedded media delivered by third-party providers. When that media loads, those providers may receive technical data needed to serve it.

VI

International transfers

Some of the providers we use may process personal data outside your home country, including outside the EEA or UK. Where that happens, we rely on the provider's contractual and legal transfer safeguards that apply to the relevant service.

VII

Cookies, local storage, and similar technology

We do not currently run analytics or advertising pixels on the public site.

We do use browser storage for restricted-route access. Specifically, the site stores simple unlock flags in localStorage after a valid access token is used. We use those flags so approved visitors do not need to re-enter the token on every visit.

Access tokens are removed from the URL after first use, but they may still briefly appear in browser history, intermediary logs, or referrer data before removal. Restricted links should therefore be treated as confidential and not forwarded casually.

VIII

Private pages and member data

Certain restricted pages are intended only for approved visitors using the dedicated access flow. They may include attendee names and public-safe operational summaries so the relevant participants can see the current roster and the state of shared event logistics.

We use that information to operate restricted event materials, manage logistics and reimbursements, and keep the room aligned. Restricted links should not be redistributed.

IX

How long we keep data

  • 01ticketing and attendee records: for the duration of the event cycle and related attendee support, then up to 24 months after the event except where finance or compliance records must be kept longer
  • 02email correspondence: for as long as needed to respond and manage the relationship, then ordinarily up to 24 months after the last active exchange unless a longer period is needed for legal or operational reasons
  • 03finance and reimbursement records, including member-operational records tied to payments: for as long as needed to settle the event, then for the period required for accounting and legal record-keeping

X

Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:

  • 01access the personal data we hold about you
  • 02ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • 03ask us to delete information where there is no longer a valid reason for us to keep it
  • 04object to or restrict certain processing
  • 05request a portable copy of information you provided to us where the law gives that right
  • 06withdraw consent where we rely on consent

To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. If your request relates to data held by Ticket Tailor, we will handle it directly where we can and coordinate with the relevant provider where needed.

XI

Complaints

If you have a privacy concern, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If applicable law gives you the right to complain to a data protection authority, you may also contact the authority in the place where you live or work.

XII

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we control. No online system is completely immune from risk, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

XIII

Third-party AI tools

The site includes an optional helper that lets you copy a prompt for use in third-party AI tools. If you choose to paste Workless content or prompts into another AI service, that service processes the data under its own terms and privacy policy, not ours.

XIV

Changes to this policy

We may update this page as the site, vendors, or event operations change. The current version will always be published at the privacy page on this site.
